Ramiro and Conchita Blandón are native
Nicaraguans. They began their ministry
under the communist Sandanista regime and
suffered greatly for their faith. Ramiro
was frequently arrested and routinely
beaten. Despite such persecution he
persevered by God's grace and continued
ministering to the people of Los Brasiles and
later in other parts of Nicaragua. He is the
founder and vice president of the Nicaraguan
evangelical minister's association.
Besides being an orphanage, Hogar de Fe
includes a school, a vocational training center
and provides housing for it's graduates.
